Where Coastal Breeze Meets Timeless Elegance
This project was a full renovation of a master bath and kitchen. A retired couple had lived in their new build for eight years and wanted to refresh their home by updating materials and achieving a different look.
A light, fresh coastal vibe was the goal. Dark cabinets were replaced with crisp white ones, and a full wall in the master bath was removed to allow more natural light to filter through from the transom window. Large circular mirrors and brushed nickel hardware filled the space, while additional storage was incorporated with a central set of vanity drawers and a built-in cabinet.
In the kitchen, the bar-height counter was lowered to a sleek counter-height design. A quartz countertop and backsplash, featuring white and caramel veining, kept the space chic and bright. Over the new oversized island, three European glass pendant lights with bold white and black stripes added a unique, modern appeal. A standout feature of the kitchen was an angled, rain-distorted glass cabinet, adding character and depth.
The dining and living rooms were also updated with new furniture to enhance the home’s organic, casual vibe. A camel-colored leather sofa, accented with teal-green hues, created a relaxed and inviting atmosphere. The new 48-inch round dining table featured a natural jute rope lattice base, while the tabletop stood out with natural pecan veneers in three soothing tonal finishes and a thick plank design.
It is incredibly rewarding to witness the transformation of a home from start to finish. However, the greatest joy comes from seeing clients embrace and enjoy their refreshed living spaces, helping them live their best lives in style.
