After meeting with 43 other designers I met Laurie. Right from that first meeting I felt she was someone who actually listened to what I was trying to achieve. Within a day she sent photos of the pieces she thought I might like followed by our second meeting to discuss. During the entire process and my sometimes indecision Laurie was patient, offered alternative pieces and worked me to achieve the look I was aiming for. The end result was amazing and the pieces she chose for my home are beautiful and unique. Her insight and design skills have given me a look that makes me smile whenever I walk into my new Home!
Laurie also works with other professionals who, like her, are knowledgable and meticulous about their work. This was definitely a plus for me since I am new to the area and now have others I can call on for future home projects.

I was so disappointed when I learned that Laurie was closing her Connecticut-based business to move out of state. She has worked on three projects for me, & I have been thrilled with the results. She possesses a great creative vision, but she listens carefully to her client’s wishes as well. She keeps the choices simple, which for somebody indecisive like me, is a huge help. Additionally, Laurie accommodates the client’s budget concerns and seems to have no difficulty locating perfect items within her customer’s spending guidelines.
