This would lead me to finding the right kind of wood that has its own unique natural characteristics, as well as an excellent craftsman who takes pride in all of the intricate details.

Building with nature can result in respecting nature, Two Brothers Wood Works is a part of every step of the process and they decided to sustainably source all of their wood for a better product and a better local environment. The wood that they use is strickly sourced from trees that were removed for safety reasons, already down due to weather or natural disasters, and then processed at their personal sawmill in the Smokey Mountains of Tennessee. Since they own their sawmill they are able to utilize trees that normally would have been burned or used for firewood.
What Makes Live Edge Unique?
Each live edge creation has its own distinct qualities based on the tree that is being used and the woodworkers that handle and craft each piece. Live edge is not a run of the mill dimensional lumber but instead its hand-selected, and carefully viewed to find the best qualities of each tree for an end result that leaves the original edges of the tree exposed. This creates an amazing natural presence for the space that it’s in, and a true unique experience to those who obtain live edge wood furniture.
