Casual Chic Kitchen Renovation Before and After

In this project we accomplished what I call a light restyling, some simple changes to bring in lighter colors and improve day to day function.

First I layered all new light taupe-white LVP over the existing pre-engineered dark floors. Next we cut down the bar height to match the all of the other counter heights. New countertops & pendant lights changed the space entirely, going from basketed pendants to a lovely glass, elevated the first appearance, and improves the amount of light the space now receives.  We brought in new white cabinets to the Laundry room, adding upper cabinets built with vintage glass inserts. This makes the room a lot lighter and adds the vintage touch. The dry rack is inserted between the cabinets for easy drying.
The final space has left me feeling extremely happy, and demonstrates what I’d call a “Beach European Look”, Casual but chic.
