A Coastal Retreat: Designing Layers of Comfort and Elegance for Retirement Bliss

The Little River project was a new build and served as a second home for my client, who plans to transition to retirement in a few years. The fully furnished home took one year to complete. We incorporated many layers into the design, including furniture, rugs, fans, lighting, area rugs, bedding, artwork, and accessories.

It was truly fulfilling to work on a project with so many elements. Each room was carefully planned for aesthetics, functionality, and comfort. Many of the design options were semi-custom, which required a considerable amount of time to finalize and implement.

The color palette was inspired by a coastal theme, featuring shades of blue, teal, green, soft gray, and beachwood tones to create a casual and relaxing environment.
