Harbor View Entire Home Design – Before & After

Furnishings and Design Elements in Every Room

Mike and Jo Tiddy found me online through my website last year. Mike is semi-retired and looking to relocate from Charlotte to Myrtle Beach. Jo’s extended family owns a home in North Myrtle, and she had been visiting since she was a small child for vacations.

We had our first meeting in early July. They had just signed a contract with Beazer Homes in the Harbor View community. The home is one level and 1,968 square feet. They chose the Hickory model to build. I began by taking measurements, video, and photos of the model home. We started with the plans to scale, and they approved the layout. The next meeting was at my home studio to start the selection process. Jo liked many of my personal furnishings, which helped me see she liked the French-inspired beach look.

Like many planning a big move, they did not bring many items except for a small media cabinet, which we repurposed with paint, a queen bed, some artwork, and family photos.

Two meetings later, orders were placed, and products were ordered for an eight-week window for the big install. Decorative Interior provided beds, furnishings, bed linens, and accessories. After the move-in and deliveries, the Tiddys added a patio, pool, and landscaping. Nine months later, the house was fully furnished and ready for warm summers in Myrtle.

It was a complete joy to help the Tiddys transition to a beautiful home in Myrtle.
