Pawley’s Plantation Master Bedroom Remodel – Before & After

Pawleys Plantation Master Bedroom

My clients live in a beautiful community in Pawleys Plantation with stunning marsh views and a prestigious golf course. The objective was to update and elevate the master bedroom by incorporating elements of nature. We chose to go with very subtle soft blue tones. This typically gives a Zen feeling of tranquility and relaxation and is the same palette used in many exclusive spas. The nature print fabric for the windows was the inspiration and set the color scheme and tone for the entire room. The playful fabric is adorned with leaves and butterflies on brown branches. Soft layers of the colors are repeated in the bedding, bench, and pair of soft upholstered chairs. Traditional wall paneling was created to give tone and depth in the most subtle way. The rich dark mahogany furniture balances the light airy tones and adds an antique heirloom quality. The real beauty in the master is the view of the unobstructed marsh. It was my pleasure to have the opportunity to return for the design of this third room, the master bedroom, for this very distinguished home.
