Living Room Redesign Before and After

Date

Before and After Recently Completed. Living Room Make Over.

Winter weather sends our projects indoors. In this latest before and after collection, we revitalized a living room from the ground up. New structure, layout, with a touch of modern and a hint of old world organic.

The before photos show the mix-n-match furniture and two or three clashing styles, which didn’t feel eclectic, it felt chaotic. How can you love to lounge in your living room if your subtle energy doesn’t truly feel at home?

We were brought on to revitalize our client’s living room, to bring a new aesthetic and improve functionality of the space. In their inspiration boards, they opted for a mid-century modern styling.

A neutral color palette was selected for the sofa and chairs, accent color is incorporated in the area rug and lumbar pillows of the two midcentury modern tufted chair’s.

Their floor plan seating would need to float due to the openness of the space, enabling their layout to change easily.

With the kitchen tile backsplash not too far out of eye line, we brought in a similar Teal hue as a compliment.  This teal accent give the home owner the flexibility to change accessories and small items seasonally & never tire of the classic upholstery items selected.

Jagged stone tile stacked form floor to ceiling gave the room some height and texture. The only existing item we worked around was the sculpted coffee table. This gave inspiration to bring this warm thick maple wood up to the mantle for a nice detail and way of displaying more accessories.

We’re all about improving the way we all feel when we’re in a space. This redesign was a pleasure to design and took the room back to a place of cozy comfort, light and warmth.  Creating a cozy and functional place to relax with family and friends. A great customer and easy to love project.
